Fever Acquires Ticketing Platform DICE
The move comes shortly after it announced a $100+ million raise
A day after announcing a $100+ million investment raise, live events discovery platform Fever has acquired fan-first ticketing platform DICE “to build the world’s leading independent live entertainment tech platform.”
The deal:
- Artists, promoters and venues working with the UK-born DICE can keep using the platform exactly as they are today.
- They will also gain access to Fever’s audience, which the company claims spans more than 40 countries and reaches 300 million people through its discovery platform and media.
- Fever’s music partners include Primavera Sound, Fabrik, Last Tour, Cercle and TCE Presents.
- DICE’s clients include Club Space, Newport Jazz and Folk Festival, Sonar, London’s Alexandra Palace and Rough Trade globally.
The sums:
- Though no financial details of the transaction have been revealed, Digital Music News notes that reports of DICE being open to a sale in 2024 placed its valuation in the “hundreds of millions of dollars range.”
What they said:
- Phil Hutcheon, Founder & CEO of DICE: “From our personalized Discover feature to our upfront, all-in pricing and Waitlist feature, we’ve always put fans first. That same ethos is what we’ve found in Fever. Joining forces allows us to scale even faster.”
- Ignacio Bachiller, Alexandre Perez and Francisco Hein, Co-Founders of Fever: “We are on a joint mission to put fans first and provide our partners with the best and most innovative tools.”
