Dan Rosen to Lead Warner Music Southeast Asia

He will also maintain responsibility for the Australian and New Zealand businesses

Dan Rosen’s role as the President of Warner Music Australasia (WMA) has been expanded to include the company’s music businesses in Southeast Asia – Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

The details:

  • As President of Warner Music Australasia & Southeast Asia Rosen will continue to report to Lo Ting-Fai (known as Lofai), President, Warner Music APAC.

  • He will collaborate with a network of local experts across the eight territories.

  • Rosen will also continue to lead WMG’s music publishing arm, Warner Chappell Music, in Australia and New Zealand.

  • The publisher’s operations in Asia, including Southeast Asia, will still be run by Arica Ng, President of Warner Chappell Music APAC.

  • Both Ng and Rosen will report to Guy Moot, Co-Chair and CEO of Warner Chappell Music.

Population:

  • The markets under Rosen’s leadership have a population of over 550 million.

  • As per Warner Music Group (WMG), some of its biggest stars generate up to a third of their worldwide streams in the combined region.

  • WMG is also focusing its investment in the region’s most talented artists and strengthening its network of local partners.
