Coda Music Launches AI Identification Tool
The newly launched streaming/social platform gives fans control over synthetic content
Coda Music, the first fully licensed, fully cataloged, on-demand premium streaming platform to emerge in almost a decade, and the first to be built on a social network, has announced the rollout of new AI identification tools.
What it means:
Every artist added to the platform will be reviewed for AI origins.
If identified as AI their profile will be clearly labeled as AI ARTIST, so fans know what they’re listening to.
The platform is also inviting users to flag suspected AI-generated artist profiles for review by Coda’s internal team.
Users can opt out of being exposed to AI music entirely by flicking a toggle switch in settings.
Coda’s AI identification system is now live on both iOS and Android.
The reach:
Coda Music is currently available in the US and Canada, with plans to expand into Europe and Asia in 2026.
What they said:
Randy Fusee, Founder and CEO of Coda Music: “This isn’t just a feature drop. It’s a values statement. Fans deserve to know what they’re hearing, and artists deserve a platform that respects their voice.”
