Spotify has released its latest feature, About the Song, in beta.

What it does:

• About the Song features “short, swipeable story cards” that explore the meaning behind the music.

• The streamer reasons that understanding the “craft and context” behind a song deepens listener connection.

• The stories are summarized from third-party sources.

Availability:

• The feature is rolling out on mobile in English for Premium users in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.
