
Cat Kreidich
Cat Kreidich is stepping away from her role as President of ADA Worldwide, Warner Music Group’s distribution and services division for indie labels and artists.
Backstory:
Kreidich joined ADA from The Orchard in 2020, and was promoted from Executive Vice President to President in 2021.
As per Music Week, she also spent time at ADA between 2007 and 2011 as its Director of Digital Sales and Marketing.
During her time as President, ADA signed label deals with Rostrum Records and Three Six Zero Records, and artist deals with the likes of Flume, Banks, Kesha and Paris Hilton.
ADA also focused on global expansion, partnering with Divo (India), Africori (Africa) and others.
No replacement has been announced.
Message to staff:
In a memo to staff Kreidich highlighted the expansion of ADA’s “global release volume”, the revitalization of its brand identity, and the development of a “digital platform specifically designed for independent artists and labels within the Warner supply chain” as notable achievements.
She added: “We made strategic acquisitions like RSDL, which Warner will go on to use to help fuel their entire recorded music business.”
Robert Kyncl, CEO of Warner Music Group, said: “Cat is a class act. A bold thinker and decisive leader, she’s always focused on what’s best for the indie community – its artists, its labels, and its spirit.”
He added: “Under her leadership, ADA has grown its relationships across the creative ecosystem, expanded its global reach, and strengthened its team and tech.”
