Apple Music Expands Radio Reach via TuneIn Collab
The live radio platform will host Apple Music’s six commercial-free stations
Live radio platform TuneIn has partnered with Apple Music to expand access to Apple’s commercial-free live radio stations.
The deal:
This is the first time Apple’s radio stations have been available outside of its own platform.
Listeners can access all six free Apple Music live radio stations through TuneIn’s 200+ connected device partnerships, including smart speakers, headphones, and several automotive brands.
The stations are:
Apple Music 1 (new releases and breaking news)
Apple Music Hits (’80s, ’90s, 2000s)
Apple Music Country
Apple Música Uno (Latin music, from Reggaeton to Música Mexicana)
Apple Music Club (dance and electronic music)
Apple Music Chill (sound designed for calm and reflection)
What they said:
Rachel Newman, co-head of Apple Music: “Apple Music Radio has always been about connection, artists sharing their music and their stories in real time and listeners discovering something new together. Through our partnership with TuneIn, we’re able to bring that experience to even more people, extending beyond the Apple ecosystem and reaching music fans wherever they are.”
