Kobalt has entered into a global partnership with independent music publishing company Amelia Songs, which was founded by Nigerian music lawyer Akinyemi Ayinoluwa.
The deal:
The partnership gives Amelia Songs’ roster of African songwriters and producers access to Kobalt’s world-class infrastructure, global administration, international sync licensing network and royalty collection capabilities.
The alliance will assist the artists and producers reach international markets, secure sync placements and collect royalties across territories and platforms.
It will also increase investment in developing and signing new African songwriting talent.
