AEG Expands European Festival Portfolio With We Love Green Deal
The live event giant will work with the environmentally conscious festival to further its sustainability efforts
AEG, the major global event company, has launched a strategic partnership with We Love Green, a music festival based in Paris that is widely celebrated for its sustainable practices.
We Love Green:
The festival’s production uses 100% renewable energy.
The event won the Green Operation Award by Yourope in 2024.
It has also received the mark of “Outstanding” for over ten years from the UK non-governmental organization (NGO), A Greener Future.
This NGO audits festivals onsite to assess their sustainability merits.
The partnership:
Combat, an independent media organization based in France, is also involved in the deal.
According to a press release, this new collaboration between AEG, Combat, and We Love Green aims to “strengthen the festival’s ambitions by providing the resources to grow, expand its international reach, and continue exploring new sustainable cultural formats, while preserving its artistic vision and environmental mission.”
What they said:
Jim King, CEO, AEG Presents UK & European Festivals: “We Love Green is a premium and sustainable event with an identity that – alongside Rock En Seine, All Points East and Lido – fits perfectly into our overall European festival strategy: connecting our marquee festivals to create high-value summer routings for artists. We’re delighted to be partnering with them and excited for what’s to come.”
