Abbey Road Institute to Open Los Angeles Campus In Sunset Gower Studios

The venture is led by GRAMMY Award-winner Rafa Sardina

Famed professional music production school Abbey Road Institute has announced its Los Angeles campus will be located within the iconic Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood. This will mark its second US location, following the launch of a Miami campus in 2020.

The details:

  • Mixer, engineer and producer Rafa Sardina, a 19-time GRAMMY and LATIN GRAMMY winner who’s worked with Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Lady Gaga and more, designed the campus and studio complex to provide students with a professional experience unique to Los Angeles.

  • It provides a professional environment where students can experience premier music production and engineering practices within an active studio setting.

  • Selected classes and activities will take place at United Recording, where artists such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, Green Day, Radiohead and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have recorded.

  • The Los Angeles campus will feature a faculty of top LA-based producers, engineers, and musicians, including Alan Meyerson, Barry Rudolph, John Boylan, Vanessa Garde, and more.

  • The Los Angeles campus will launch on October 26.
