Whitney Houston’s Voice Returns to the Stage via AI
The singer’s estate has worked on a concert experience with AI startup Moises
The Estate of Whitney E. Houston has teamed with Primary Wave Music, Park Avenue Artists and AI music creation platform Moises to bring the singer’s vocals back to the stage for a seven-city tour this fall.
The concert:
The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration is a concert experience that features Houston’s vocals with a live orchestra and rare video performance footage.
The dates and tickets are here.
The roadblock:
Many of Houston’s original multitrack recordings are no longer available, making it near impossible to isolate and extract Houston’s vocals from her songs.
The solution:
Houston’s Estate and its creative partner Park Avenue Artists employed Moises’ stem separation technology, which isolates individual instruments and vocals from recordings at near-studio quality audio.
The future:
Music AI, the company behind Moises, will continue working with Park Avenue Artists on future projects to help other legacy artist estates create respectful, AI-powered musical experiences.
What they said:
Geraldo Ramos, Moises CEO: “This project demanded exceptionally high-caliber stem separation, something Moises leads the industry in achieving. We had to isolate Whitney’s vocals from fully mixed recordings without compromising the emotional power of her performance. A concert like this simply wouldn’t have been possible five years ago, before stem separation technology reached the precision and fidelity we’re now able to deliver.”
Pat Houston, Executor of The Estate of Whitney E. Houston: “Moises and our partner Park Avenue Artists elevated the idea with the heart, care, and creative excellence that Whitney always embodied. The result is something truly special: a gift for longtime fans and a powerful introduction for a new generation discovering her voice.”
