UnitedMasters Taps Alessandro 'Moz' Moro to Head UK Division

Adds Grace Carter and Kid Apollo to its artist roster

Independent music distribution platform UnitedMasters has hired industry veteran Alessandro “Moz” Moro to lead its UK division as Senior A&R.

The role:

  • As per Music Business Worldwide, Moro will work alongside A&R VP Jesse Morav to oversee operations, artist development and growth across the UK.

  • The company says its renewed UK push follows the success of artists such as BigXthaPlug, FloyyMenor, Veigh, Bay Swag and Armanii in 2025.

Backstory:

  • A 15-year industry veteran, Moro has held positions at Warner Records, Island Records, Platoon and EMPIRE.

  • He oversaw digital campaigns and strategy for artists such as Drake, The Weeknd and Jessie J.

  • He was also A&R for artists including Ayra Starr, Teni, and Kwengface.
