TaTa Taktumi, Timbaland’s AI Artist, Signs to Ne-Yo’s Label, Pacific Music Group

TaTa Taktumi, the first AI artist curated under superproducer Timbaland’s Stage Zero, has signed with Pacific Music Group. Pacific focuses on Asian-centric talent.

An AI artist:

• Pacific has stated there is an artist behind TaTa Taktumi, going on to say said artist is Filipino, adding authenticity to the Pacific presentation and cultural expression.

• The identity of the artist "remains intentionally private.”

• Pacific will manage TaTa Taktumi in Asia and be the label behind all global releases.

• Pacific will also oversee market positioning, release campaigns, partnerships, media, and long-term brand development in Asian territories.

Background:

• Pacific was started by Ne-Yo, Indian music director Sonu Nigam, Chinese American hip hop artist Jin, and veteran music executive Jonathan Serbin.

• The company officially launched last November.

• Timbaland launched Stage Zero back in June 2025.

• Award-winning producer Rocky Mudaliar and AI music strategist Zayd Portillo are partners in Stage Zero.

• Stage Zero is separate from Suno despite Timbaland serving as a strategic advisor to the latter.
