Tal Meltzer Elevated to COO Role at Hallwood Media

Record label and management company Hallwood Media has announced the promotion of Tal Meltzer to Chief Operating Officer.

Background:

• Meltzer spent a decade as a songwriter and producer before transitioning into A&R and business affairs.

• He was most recently Senior Vice President, Head of A&R and Business Affairs at Hallwood Media.

• As per the press release, he “has been a key architect in building the company’s record label, distribution and publishing divisions.”

• He has also “led the expansion of Hallwood’s A&R and marketing teams.”

The role:

• Meltzer is based at the company’s West Hollywood HQ and will report to CEO Neil Jacobson.

• His remit includes strengthening Hallwood’s infrastructure and “further evolving it into a fully integrated music powerhouse that champions artist development across multiple sectors.”

Hallwood’s roster:

• Hallwood is home to artists such as 2Hollis, YG, Remy Bond and David Stewart.

• Its roster of artists, producers and songwriters has racked up more than 1,000 cuts and 250 Gold and Platinum records.
