StrmMusic Gains Preferred Partner Status with YouTube
Enables independent creators to more easily monetize their content on the platform
Music career accelerator StrmMusic has signed a major global distribution partnership with YouTube, enabling its 60,000+ artists worldwide to monetize original content on the platform.
The details:
StrmMusic has become a direct partner for monetization and content growth with YouTube.
The partnership is available in over 100 countries and more than 80 languages.
Artists can monetize any original content published on YouTube that’s connected to a channel approved under StrmMusic’s network, whether it be music videos, behind-the-scenes footage, tour diaries or studio sessions.
To participate the artist must have an active distribution or advance agreement with StrmMusic.
Other deals:
The YouTube partnership comes off the back of StrmMusic’s collaborations with TikTok and live showcase leader Breaking Sound.
About:
StrmMusic leverages data, AI, financial support, distribution and label services to advance artists’ careers independently, sustainably, and without restrictive contracts.
It was founded in Brazil in 2020 and recently opened its North American headquarters in Chicago.
What they said:
Fernando Gabriel, Co-Founder and CEO of StrmMusic: “We are strengthening our relationships with important music services in ways we know will benefit our artists, increase their earnings, and expand their audiences. Our new direct relationship with YouTube builds on our already robust deals to give more opportunities to our +60,000 artists worldwide.”
