The deal brings new episodes of ‘Open Mic’ and ‘Verified’ to the streaming platform

What it means:

  • Spotify users can now stream full video episodes of Genius’ live performance series, Open Mic, with new episodes dropping on Thursdays at 11am ET.

  • Following an initial rollout of Verified, Spotify will add a backlog of older episodes of the artist-led lyric breakdown series alongside new releases.

  • New episodes of Verified premiere Wednesdays and Fridays at 11am ET.

  • Spotify says that since the series launched in 2016, they’ve amassed more than 3.7 billion combined views.
