Noah Kahan is an American singer-songwriter born January 1, 1997, in Strafford, Vermont. Raised on a tree farm, he began writing songs at age 8 and gained exposure through SoundCloud. He signed with Republic Records in 2017 and achieved breakthrough success with his gold-certified single "Hurt Somebody." Known for his folk-infused pop style and introspective lyrics about small-town life and mental health, Kahan has become a voice for his generation with hits like "Stick Season."
