Pacha New York, an arm of the Ibiza-born nightclub brand, is set to open on the site previously occupied by the Brooklyn Mirage.
Backstory:
Fresh off a $30 million renovation, the Brooklyn Mirage was unable to open in 2025 due to failed safety inspections, resulting in canceled shows.
Its parent company, Avant Gardner, declared bankruptcy, and filed for demolition of the venue in October 2025.
New life:
In February it was announced the Pacha brand, which is backed by Dubai-based parent company FIVE Holdings, would take over the venue.
As per Pitchfork it’s scheduled to open on June 20 with British DJ Michael Bibi, and South African producer Black Coffee playing on June 21.
Billboard states that Pacha has emailed approximately 30,000 Mirage ticket holders who hadn’t received refunds for the canceled 2025 shows, offering vouchers for the upcoming season.
Race to open:
Pitchfork estimates demolition of the Mirage will be completed by May, meaning it will be a quick turnaround for the June 20 opening.
