GRAMMY-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Deftones) has launched his own record label, Hiss Recordings.
Release strategy:
As reported by Revolver, Hiss Recordings will have a singles focus, driven by a passion for 7-inch vinyl.
The label’s debut release was a digital-only song called “Bonfire” by Raskulinecz, who teamed with Big Wreck’s Ian Thornley and Korn drummer Ray Luzier.
The first 7-inch release is by rising Nashville shoegaze duo Doom Mutual, featuring the songs “Static Planet” and “Crowbar.”
What they said:
Nick Raskulinecz (to Revolver): “I’m currently looking for and signing bands, getting them into my studio and recording some songs. I’ve found some bands that I’m looking at and will be getting stuff out over the rest of the year and looking into releases for 2027!”
