Lauded Baltimore hardcore punk outfit Turnstile has announced a remix LP for their Grammy-winning fourth album, NEVER ENOUGH (2025). The release is entitled _NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS_. It’s coming out Friday, August 28, and there will be 23 A-list contributors.
Personnel:
The new record will feature bona fide legends such as Elton John, electronic mavens Four Tet and Floating Points, indie icons Julien Baker and Hayley Williams, and fellow hardcore stalwarts, Dying Fetus.
As of now, it’s not clear if every artist listed will have their own track or if there will be collaborations between them.
The announcement describes it as "A reimagined album."
Background:
Elton John has been vocal about being a Turnstile fan.
They are following in the footsteps of Charli XCX, who put out a similar version of her smash hit album, BRAT (2024).
Hers was called Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat (2024), featuring reworks from Billie Eilish, Lorde, Jon Hopkins, Caroline Polachek, and more.
