Spotify has promoted Mia Nygren to Vice President and General Manager for Europe and Latin America, a combined territory that accounts for 60% of the platform's Premium subscriber base. Nygren has been with Spotify since 2011, spending the past decade-plus building out the company's Latin America business before stepping into the broader role over the summer. Separately, Niklas Brantberg has joined as Managing Director for the Nordics, coming from Overtone Studios (part of the Epidemic Group), and reports to Nygren.
Former TuneCore CEO Andreea Gleeson has been named CEO of beatBread, succeeding interim CEO Tracy Maddux. Gleeson led TuneCore from 2021 until January 2026, after which she founded Andreea Gleeson Advisory. At beatBread, she will focus on expanding the company's operations outside the US, deepening distributor and label partnerships, and building out its underwriting capabilities.
Universal Music Group and Warner Chappell Music have jointly launched Sonido Distrito Sur, a new music company dedicated to developing Ecuadorian artists across recorded music, publishing, marketing, and live. The venture is led by Ecuadorian singer-songwriter and SAYCE President Juan Fernando Velasco alongside music executive Ricardo Ordóñez.
Warner Music France President Alain Veille has been elected President of SNEP, France's recorded music trade body, succeeding Bertrand Burgalat after six years in the role. Veille has spent more than 30 years in the industry, joining WMG in 2001 and taking over as President of Warner Music France in 2021.

Rob Waller, who spent eight years at Live Nation after selling his independent promoter Soundcrash in 2018, has joined UK independent promoter DHP Family, where he will develop his existing touring roster and work on new event concepts.
Eitaro Shibasaki has been named Chief Business Officer of Warner Music Japan. He comes from Eggs Co., Ltd., the digital music company he co-founded as a joint venture with RecoChoku, NTT DOCOMO, and Tower Records Japan, and where he served as President.
Music intelligence company MusiMap has launched a new four-product B2B intelligence suite and appointed Gracenote co-founder and former UMG CTO Ty Roberts as Chief Commercial Officer.
Mason Hunter has been promoted to VP of Creative Partnerships and Events at BMI, stepping up from Assistant Vice President. A 26-year BMI veteran, he will continue developing brand partnerships and expand revenue opportunities for BMI's songwriters, composers, and publishers, reporting to EVP Mike Steinberg.
Martyn Jenkin has been named Head of Partnerships at Aviva Arena, the 20,000-capacity Bristol venue set to open in 2028. He joins from Momentum Worldwide, where he led American Express's live event ticketing partnerships across F1, the NFL, Wimbledon, and BST Hyde Park.
Noémie Lambert has been appointed Head of TuneCore, France, where she will oversee operations across France and French-speaking countries. She joins from Audio Network, and previously held roles at Spotify France, Universal Music France, and Groover.
Melody Place has hired Bob Reeves (ex-Warner Music Nashville, Riser House) as Head of Promotion and Commercial Partnerships, and Liz Kiley (ex-UMG, MTV Networks, The Box Network) as Head of Marketing.
