Madonna has partnered with LGBTQ+ social networking app Grindr to launch her 15th album, Confessions II, the sequel to her acclaimed 2005 full-length Confessions on a Dance Floor.
What it means:
Users will experience an evolving in-app takeover featuring exclusive content, and dynamic, location-aware moments that appear within the Global Gayborhood.
They can also access limited drops, including a new picture disc of Confessions II handpicked by Madonna, exclusively for Grindr users.
Additional details will be revealed in the coming weeks in the Grindr app and on Grindr’s social channels, leading into the album’s July 3 release.
The in-app experience requires iOS version 26.6.1 or Android version 26.6.
What they said:
George Arison, CEO of Grindr: “Grindr drives connections, shapes culture, and builds community – and no one embodies that spirit quite like Madonna. She has been empowering our community to Express Yourself for decades, so this feels less like a partnership and more like a homecoming.”
