Lo Ting-Fai Appointed President of Warner Music APAC
The new role begins on August 11
Lo Ting-Fai, known as Lofai, has been appointed President of Warner Music APAC.
Backstory:
Lofai was most recently at telecoms giant PCCW.
He was CEO of its subsidiary, MakerVille, an entertainment company focusing on content creation, artist management and live events; and COO of Viu, its regional OTT streaming platform.
Other prior roles include Creative Director for Asia Pacific at Apple, and he also worked as a creative at leading advertising agencies such as Wieden+Kennedy and CTWCM.
He has also written songs under the pseudonym “Yu Ri.”
Reporting:
Lofai will be based in Hong Kong.
He will report to Robert Kyncl, CEO of Warner Music Group.
All of the company’s recorded music territory heads across the Asia-Pacific region will report to Lofai.
