Live Nation Plans to Build “South America’s Largest Indoor Arena”

The venue is set to open in the Brazilian city of São Paulo

Live Nation has entered into a joint venture with São Paulo developer Cidade Center Norte to build a new arena in the Brazilian hotspot. The venue will be called the São Paulo Arena, and it will be South America’s largest indoor venue designed specifically for live entertainment.

  • The venue will have a capacity of 21,000.

  • Construction is planned to begin later this year and be completed in 2028.

  • Programming will include over 200 concerts and sporting events per year, aiming to bring in over 2 million annual attendees.

  • The arena will create 1,800 jobs and generate over $311.2 million in spending throughout Brazil within five years.

  • Blueprint Studio, Live Nation's in-house firm that designed Barclays Center in New York and Moody’s Center in Austin, is overseeing São Paulo Arena as well.
