Influence Media Partners to Acquire Anthem Entertainment Catalogs

The $600M deal includes the publishing catalogs of more than 24,000 released songs

New York-based music and entertainment company Influence Media Partners, in collaboration with funds and accounts managed by affiliates of BlackRock, has signed an agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Anthem Entertainment for more than $600 million.

The deal:

  • The agreement covers Anthem’s music publishing catalogs, film & TV publishing assets, and portfolio of master recordings.

  • The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in Q4 2026.

Iconic catalogs:

  • Anthem’s catalogs comprise over 24,000 released songs and more than 60,000 additional unexploited works.

  • They include hits such as Britney Spears' “Oops!... I Did It Again”; Justin Timberlake's “SexyBack”; Timbaland’s “The Way I Are”; Rush’s “Tom Sawyer”; OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars”; and others from notable American country songwriters Jordan Davis, Shane Profitt, and Chris Janson.

  • The film & TV catalog contains soundtracks from iconic movies and television shows such as the Spider-Man franchise, the Men in Black franchise, and LEGO Ninjago.
