The one-time event will amass dance music superstars at the Empire Polo Club in Indio

Goldenvoice, the AEG Presents subsidiary and organizer behind Coachella, has announced a new dance music festival called Head Trip. The event will take place on October 10-11, 2026, at the same venue as Coachella, the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA.

The details:

  • Artists performing include Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, and Fisher B2B Chris Lake. Full lineup here.

  • The event will include a single stage and will only be produced once.

  • Floating Points will make the US debut of his custom-built Sunflower Soundsystem.

  • There are camping options and hotel packages.

  • Unlike Coachella, which is all ages, Head Trip will be 18+.

  • The event has said there will be “befores and afters,” which likely means pre-parties and afterparties.

  • Register for tickets here. Sale begins on Friday, March 13 at 11 a.m. PT.

Background:

  • This event continues Goldenvoice’s “Trip” series of single-stage events at the Empire Polo Club.

  • In 2016, the promoter hosted Desert Trip with classic rock legends such as The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney.

  • The 2023 edition, Power Trip, was dedicated to classic metal bands such as Iron Maiden and Metallica.
