FreshTunes Expands Royalty Payment Options for Artists
The artist services platform is offering direct-to-bank-card payments
Artist services platform FreshTunes has introduced new payment options for artist royalties worldwide.
The details:
Starting in Q1 2026, artists will be able to receive their payouts directly to their Visa or Mastercard bank cards.
The platform claims this will make payments faster and easier for music makers in North and South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia (“anywhere not under OFAC sanctions”).
Artists can turn on direct-to-bank-card payments in their FreshTunes account.
The logic:
FreshTunes is an artist services platform with a focus on “artists from less income-rich markets” where payments can take more than a year to reach them.
This new measure is designed to speed up the process.
What they said:
Andrew Rudetskih, COO of FreshTunes: “We support artists working in 140 countries, and they all have their own challenges and needs when it comes to financial services. We know this and wanted to make our payment process even easier. Now, artists can have that money sooner in a way that is extremely convenient.”
