Warner Music Group (WMG) has promoted Eric Wong to EVP of Recorded Music. He previously served as Chief Marketing Officer of Recorded Music, and will continue on as President, East West Records US, and President, Warner Music Canada.
Background:
Wong will now lead global marketing campaigns and global A&R by working with WMG subsidiary labels and their rosters.
As President of East West Records US, he spearheaded breakthrough acts, such as Punjabi superstar Karan Aujla.
As head of Warner Music Canada, he focused on bridging the US and Canadian markets and brought in new hires to oversee on-the-ground operations.
Throughout his time at WMG, he worked on campaigns for Dua Lipa, Charli xcx, Ed Sheeran, Cardi B, David Guetta, and Coldplay.
