Duetti Hires TalentX Co-Founder Gavin Rudolph for A&R Role

Duetti, the catalog acquisition company that focuses on independent artists, has hired TalentX Entertainment Co-Founder Gavin Rudolph to head up A&R.

The role:

• Rudolph will lead A&R, identifying and developing catalog opportunities while working closely with artists to maximize long-term value.

Backstory:

• Rudolph started his career at Maverick Management, working with artists like Ty Dolla $ign.

• He then co-founded TalentX Entertainment, helping to create social media collective Sway House while launching TalentX Records with Warner Records.

• Later he joined 724 Management, supporting artists such as jxdn and Nessa Barrett, while contributing to strategy and A&R for acts such as Kim Petras, Bebe Rexha, Britney Spears and Aerosmith.

Investment:

• Rudolph’s appointment follows a $200 million raise in January, through which Duetti will acquire independent music catalogs and expand the company.

• Over the past three years the company has raised more than $635 million and has partnered with over 1,100 artists, songwriters and other music creators to purchase and manage portions of their music rights catalogs, as per Variety.
