Anthropic’s Claude AI has announced a series of new integrations – or connectors, as it calls it – including Spotify and StubHub.
Why it matters:
It signals the growing influence of AI chatbots in consumers’ decision-making processes.
The announcement follows recent integrations between ChatGPT and platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Ticketmaster and SeatGeek.
How it works – Spotify:
Free and premium Spotify users can connect their account to Claude for “personalized recommendations based on their taste and listening history,” as per the streaming giant’s press release.
Once Claude has recommended a playlist, podcast or piece of music, users can preview it or save it, play it in Claude, or open it in the Spotify app.
Premium users can also describe a vibe or mood to get a playlist tailored to their prompt.
How it works – StubHub:
Rather than describe a specific event, users can simply describe what they’re in the mood for and mention StubHub, with Claude then surfacing real events from StubHub’s marketplace.
Its answers are grounded in StubHub’s real-time inventory.
Upon finding an event, users head to StubHub to complete the purchase.
Availability:
Connectors are available on all plans, with mobile in beta.
