


Beatport, the world’s largest music store for DJs, has announced Beatport Connect L.A., a one-day summit designed to inspire connection within the electronic music industry.
The idea:
Beatport Connect L.A. will feature leading voices from across music, culture, and industry exploring the conversations shaping the current state of the industry.
Topics will include how AI is transforming production, breaking through in the attention economy, beyond burnout, and more.
The summit is the latest in the global Beatport Connect series, with previous events taking place in New York, Johannesburg, Melbourne, Tokyo and Mexico City.

The initial line-up includes:
Sofi Tukker (artist)

Katie Bain (Director, Billboard Dance)
Moody Jones (General Manager, Dirtybird)

The details:
The event will take place at the W Hotel in Hollywood on Friday September 26.
In addition to the daytime programming, all attendees will receive access to sunset networking drinks on the WET Deck, and a late-night Beatport Live event at The Loft, in collaboration with Insomniac Records.
Tickets for the evening portion can also be purchased separately.
Tickets for Beatport L.A. are on sale now, with 50% of all sales benefiting MusiCares.
