BeatHub Entertainment Acquires Company Operating Movistar Arena in Bogotá

BeatHub Entertainment, the prominent Colombian live event ecosystem, has taken full control of Bogotá’s world-class venue, Movistar Arena. The upcoming DAVIarena in Medellín, which is expected to open in November, will also be under BeatHub’s purview. With two arenas in Colombia's largest markets, the country will have a strong position as an entertainment destination.

The details:

• Previously, BeatHub owned 50% of the company that operates the arena, but it just purchased the remainder from Chilean promoter BeLive Entertainment Group.

• This purchase ends the partnership between BeLive and BeatHub that began with the development of the venue.

Background:

• Movistar Arena opened in 2018.

• Since then, the venue has hosted 5.5 million people and over 400 artists.

• 160 events are expected to take place in 2026.
