Divo, one of South India’s leading digital media and music companies, which is majority owned by Warner Music India, has appointed Ashok Parwani as its Head of Music.

As per its media release, Parwani’s appointment reinforces Divo’s commitment to “significantly expanding its regional catalog, strengthening creator partnerships, and accelerating its overall growth strategy across the key Tamil, Teluga, Kannada, and Malayalam markets.”
Divo was majority acquired by Warner Music India in 2023.
Backstory:
Parwani brings four decades of experience across India, Sri Lanka and the UAE.
He spent two decades at Sony Music India, building Sony Music South into the number one label in the region while leading major catalog acquisitions.
