WME Hires Laura Ruiz as Agent for Electronic Music
The agent was previously with The Bliss Office
WME has appointed Laura Ruiz as an agent in the contemporary music department, with a focus on the agency’s expanding roster of electronic music artists.
The role:
Ruiz will be based in WME’s London office.
She will oversee WME’s electronic music business in Spain and Portugal.
The move reflects WME’s international expansion in the genre.
Ruiz will bring several of her clients to the agency, including Oguz, Joyhauser, Don Woezik, Diøn and Milo Spykers.
Background:
Prior to joining WME Ruiz worked at Berlin-based underground music agency The Bliss Office as the Managing Director of the North and South America division.
In addition to operating her own artist agency, she also worked in the Barcelona office of The Bullitt Agency.
