The ROSTR Group Launches ROSTR Venues, a Directory of 33,000+ Venues

Today, The ROSTR Group, the independent music media and technology company, launches ROSTR Venues, a searchable directory of more than 33,000 venues across North America, South America and Europe. Venues is free and available on all ROSTR plans.

Venue research across the industry still largely runs on PDFs, spreadsheets and outdated lists. ROSTR built Venues for agents, managers and anyone who books, routes or plays shows, to make finding the right room as fast as booking a stay on Booking.com or Airbnb.

How it works:

• Users can search venues by location, capacity, type, and more, then compare results on an interactive map.

• Each venue has a profile with key details, upcoming shows, ticketing info and links, and connects to the rest of ROSTR, so users can go from a show straight to the artist's agent or manager.

• ROSTR Pro users also get Key Contacts: the names, roles and contact details of the people who book and run each venue.

• Venues is ROSTR's first directory available on mobile web and is coming to the ROSTR iOS app soon.

The partners:

• ROSTR worked with the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) on the Live Independent filter, which surfaces NIVA member venues in one click. Each NIVA member's profile carries a Live Independent seal.

• Legends and Opendate came on as early partners, claiming their venues on ROSTR ahead of launch. Bandsintown powers the upcoming shows on each profile.

• Any venue operator can now claim their ROSTR profile to keep their information up to date.

• Coverage will continue to expand beyond North America, South America and Europe.

• Venues is coming to the ROSTR iOS app soon.
