


Spotify Hikes Premium Subscription Prices in the UK and Switzerland
There are predictions that a US increase is coming soon as well
Spotify is increasing the cost of all types of premium subscriptions in the UK and Switzerland. This follows another UK increase that went into effect in April 2024.
The UK numbers:
The UK monthly fee for solo premium subscriptions will rise from £11.99 to £12.99.
Duo plans will go from £16.99 to £17.99.
Family plans will increase from £19.99 to £21.99.
The student tier will remain the same at £5.99.
The Swiss numbers:
Individual Swiss subscriptions will go from 13.95 CHF to 15.95 CHF (Swiss Francs).
Duo plans will rise to 21.95 CHF from 18.95 CHF.
Family plans are increasing from 22.95 CHF to 26.95 CHF.
In Switzerland, family plans will increase as well from 7.95 CHF to 8.95 CHF.
The latest price increase in Switzerland was in August 2023.
