Insomniac and Amsterdam Dance Event to Host New Electronic Music Conference in Las Vegas

Insomniac, the global electronic music event promoter and Live Nation subsidiary, and the longstanding electronic music conference Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) have announced a new co-venture called Map Point Summit. This collaborative event will be a conference similar to ADE, but it will take place in Las Vegas between the two weekends of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Insomniac’s flagship festival.

The details:

• Specific dates for Map Point Summit haven’t been announced, but the coinciding EDC Las Vegas weekends are May 14–16 and May 21–23.

• The venue is Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

• The conference will include panels, workshops, networking events, and educational programming.

• There will also be a marketplace for extensive retail opportunities from businesses and creators in the electronic music sphere, and an exposition for new tech products.

• While no specific sessions have been announced yet, the website has shared topics of interest, including “Building A Dream Team,” “The State of Dance,” and “The Experience Economy.”

• Registration will open in 2027. Visit Map Point Summit for information on attending and participating in the conference.

What they said:

• Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella: “Rave culture was built by ravers, for ravers. It started as a grassroots, community-driven movement with its own values, spirit, and way of doing things. As our scene has grown, I believe it's become increasingly important to protect what made it special in the first place. That's why Map Point Summit means so much to me. We need to support independent promoters, share knowledge, create opportunities for the next generation, and work together to build an industry that allows rave culture to thrive on its own terms. I'm excited to partner with ADE to help bring that vision to life.”
