Scott Borchetta Launches New Management Division, Signs Carly Pearce

Following his exit from HYBE America last month, seasoned country executive Scott Borchetta has opened a new management division via the newly established Borchetta Entertainment Group. Country idol Carly Pearce has signed on as a client.

The details:

• Mike Blong has joined Borchetta as a manager following his departure from Starstruck Entertainment.

• The company will work closely with Big Machine Records, which Borchetta recently reclaimed from HYBE.

• Big Machine will also operate as part of Borchetta Entertainment Group.

• Blong has worked on Pearce's management team in the past.

Background:

• Borchetta was CEO of Big Machine Label Group under the HYBE umbrella.

• When Borhcetta left HYBE, he reclaimed the Big Machine name, and HYBE’s country music arm was rebranded as Blue Highway Records.
