Global Music Community, the France-based startup founded by former Universal Music Group (UMG) and MIDEM execs, has raised $1 million to further develop MNGRS.AI, the AI-powered artist management service aimed at guiding creators with their careers.
The platform:
MNGRS.AI is designed to act as a digital manager, offering support around release planning, audience and career strategy, and personalized content production.
It was founded in 2022 by Alexandre Deniot and Thomas Quenoil, both previously of MIDEM and Universal Music Group.
MNGRS.AI claims that since its launch it has supported several thousand artists worldwide.
The founders:
Deniot served as the Director of music industry conference MIDEM between 2017 and 2021.
He also has experience managing the careers of artists such as GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Candice Pillay and Nigerian pop star Seyi Shay.
Quenoil held executive roles at UMG and MIDEM.
The investors:
Include professional footballers Aurélian Tchouaméni (Real Madrid), Jules Koundé (FC Barcelona) and Mike Maignan (AC Milan).
