Influence Media Partners, in collaboration with funds and accounts managed by BlackRock, has completed its acquisition of substantially all of Anthem Entertainment’s assets in a transaction valued at over $600 million. The deal was first announced in July 2026.
Why it matters:
The acquisition covers Anthem’s music publishing catalogs, film and television publishing assets, and portfolio of master recordings.
The deal adds more than 24,000 released songs and 60,000 additional unexploited works to Influence Media’s portfolio.
The catalogs include hits such as The Weeknd’s “Die For You,” Britney Spears’ “Oops!.. I Did It Again,” Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack,” Timbaland’s “The Way I Are,” OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars,” and Rush’s “Tom Sawyer,” among others.
Also included are released titles featured in film and television franchises including Spider-Man, Breaking Bad, and LEGO Ninjago.
Influence Media says the transaction marks a “significant milestone” in its growth, and strengthens its position as a “leading independent music and entertainment investment platform.”
