Harry Styles Ticket Scalpers "Caught" by Ticketmaster

Their tickets have been canceled and will be relisted at the original price

Ticketmaster says it “caught scalpers with thousands of tickets” to Harry Styles’ upcoming Madison Square Garden shows.

How it happened:

  • In an open letter by Global President Saumil Mehta, he said the company had identified scalpers that had used “multiple accounts” and “fake identities” to circumvent ticket limits to the MSG run.

  • Mehta stressed that anyone who bought directly on Ticketmaster is not affected, nor is anyone who received a transferred or resale ticket in their Ticketmaster account.

What’s next?

  • Having canceled the tickets – none of which had been transferred to fans – Ticketmaster will relist them for their original price, which is a maximum of $130, as per The Ticketing Business.

  • Fans can request tickets on Ticketmaster’s Harry Styles page from midday local time on April 30 until May 1 at 5pm.

  • Styles’ two-month residency at MSG runs from August 26 to October 31.
