Big Machine Label Group Expands International Team
It will helm the label’s efforts across the UK, Australia and more
Big Machine Label Group (BMLG) has promoted four key staff from its international division, and added an additional member.
The promotions:
Alex Hannaby has been elevated to VP, International Marketing & Operations, in addition to her role as Head of UK.
Hannaby has played a key role in growing BMLG’s international expansion, especially in the UK, where she created and launched the region’s first official country music radio chart.
She also helped singles by Riley Green, Thomas Rhett and Jackson Dean reach No. 1 on country radio in the UK and Australia, and Dolly Parton’s Rockstar album reach the Top 5 in both territories.
Iren Coutiel steps up to Senior International Digital & Commercial Manager, having joined the label as an intern in 2017.
She will oversee content strategy, influencer marketing, advertising, D2C initiatives and DSPs across all international markets.
Roxanne Gwillam-Kelly moves into the International Marketing & Promotions Manager role, where she will lead projects in the UK and other countries.
Flo Myerscough-Harris will also move into an International Marketing & Promotions Manager position. Since joining BMLG in 2021 she has been overseeing projects in the UK, and will now add other international territories to her remit.
The new hire:
Cary Dal-Lago is International Label Intern. She will assist on all global projects.
What they said:
Scott Borchetta, BMLG Founder, Chairman & CEO: “From the onset of Big Machine Records, a global focus was a must, and our UK-based team has led the way in building the country format, not only in the UK, but all across Europe. They consistently find new ways to expand our footprint and drive revenue with incredible passion, execution and creativity!”
