Apple Music Announces Elton John and Charli XCX for Debut Apple Music Hall Lineup

Apple Music has made two big moves into the live space this week. Today (September 25), the streamer announced the debut lineup for its new music venue in London, Apple Music Hall. Yesterday (September 24), the streamer announced its debut video live stream festival partnership with Head Trip, the new dance music event from Goldenvoice and AEG Presents.

Background:

• Apple shared the news about Apple Music Hall this past Tuesday, September 22.

• The 600-capacity venue in the iconic Battersea Power Station will also have recording studios and a broadcast control booth for live streaming.

Apple Music Hall:

• The lineup includes Elton John, Baby Keem, Skye Newman, Troye Sivan, Arlo Parks, Burna Boy, Chase & Status, and Charli XCX.

• All of these performances will be live-streamed.

• Elton John kicks off the series on September 28. The shows run through December 2, with Charli XCX closing.

• Tickets become available on Monday, September 28 @ 9 am British Standard Time.

Head Trip:

• Apple Music will provide a video stream and audio stream of the festival.

• The event takes place October 10-11. Watch in the app or on Headtripindio.com.

• Listen on Apple Music Club Radio. Radio is available to non-subscribers.

• Prior to this, Apple Music only streamed audio from events such as EDC Las Vegas. These were not exclusive streams either.

• Head Trip is Apple Music’s first exclusive festival stream partnership.
