Super Junior (SJ or SuJu) is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment. The group debuted with twelve members in 2005 and saw the addition of a thirteenth member in 2006. They gained international recognition following the release of their best-selling single "Sorry, Sorry" in 2009. Over the years, some members have departed, but the group remains active, known for their contributions to the Korean Wave.
