Rusty Gaston is the CEO of Sony Music Publishing Nashville, a position he assumed in January 2020. Previously, he co-founded the publishing company THiS Music. Gaston moved to Nashville in 1996 to study music business at Belmont University. He was recognized as Billboard's Country Power Players Executive of the Year in 2023.
