Monte Lipman

Monte Lipman is an American record executive and film producer who founded Republic Records in 1995 alongside his brother Avery. As CEO of the Universal Music Group-owned label, he has worked with major artists including Drake, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Post Malone, The Weeknd, and Amy Winehouse. A University at Albany graduate (1986), Lipman has built Republic Records into one of the most successful labels in the music industry.
