He is renowned for his work with iconic rock artists, including John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Aerosmith, Patti Smith, Cheap Trick, and the New York Dolls, primarily during the 1970s and 1980s. Douglas has produced numerous multi-platinum albums and received a Grammy Award for Album of the Year for his work on John Lennon & Yoko Ono's "Double Fantasy".
