Avery Lipman

Avery Lipman is an American music industry executive and co-founder, President & Chief Operating Officer of Republic Records, owned by Universal Music Group. He graduated from University at Albany with a bachelor's degree in English in 1988. His career began at Arista Records as an assistant to Clive Davis. Along with his brother Monte, he founded Republic Records in 1995, which has become one of the most successful record labels in the industry.
