
Warner Music Group (WMG) will officially acquire the independent B2B music platform, Revelator. This acquisition will fold into the operations of ADA, WMG’s in-house global distributor.
The deal:
The deal is expected to close next quarter.
Revelator will continue to serve its hundreds of current clients once the acquisition is finalized.
Revelator uses cloud-based tools to help artists, labels, and distributors simplify various operations and financial reporting.
These tools will be available to WMG artists and labels moving forward.
