WMG Acquires Independent Distribution Platform, Revelator

Revelator specializes in digital distribution, rights management, royalty accounting, and analytics

Warner Music Group (WMG) will officially acquire the independent B2B music platform, Revelator. This acquisition will fold into the operations of ADA, WMG’s in-house global distributor.

The deal:

  • Revelator will continue to serve its hundreds of current clients once the acquisition is finalized.

  • Revelator uses cloud-based tools to help artists, labels, and distributors simplify various operations and financial reporting.
