Ultra Music Festival to Host Debut Edition in New Zealand

Ultra Worldwide, the international arm of the Miami-based dance music festival, Ultra Music Festival, is hosting the first-ever Ultra New Zealand in 2026. The event will take place on April 10 in Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city.

The details:

• No venue has been confirmed for the event, but organizers are preparing to build three stages for a capacity of 20,000 over one day.

• Ultra has yet to put out any official information. The festival expansion was first shared by New Zealand-based news outlets.

• One such outlet, RNZ, said this festival was part of a “multi-year agreement.”

• The lineup is expected on Wednesday, December 10.

• Ticket sales are expected on the following Wednesday, December 17.

• Ultra Worldwide, WellingtonNZ, and New Zealand promoter Audiology Touring will collaborate to organize the event.

• Ultra Worldwide has hosted events in other global hubs such as South Africa, Croatia, India, Thailand, and Brazil, among many others.
