India-headquartered Tips Music has acquired Studio Radha’s complete music catalog, adding more than 4,000+ Gujarati and Kutchi tracks to its portfolio.
The deal:
Tips Music gains traditional songs spanning devotional music, folk music, and cultural narratives from the Indian state of Gujarat.
Tips will distribute Studio Radha’s catalog across major streaming platforms and digital services.
As per the company’s statement, the acquisition is part of Tips Music’s “strategic expansion into regional markets, delivering authentic folk traditions with contemporary reach to Indian and global audiences.”
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
